Desert Inn Guest House is an elegantly decorated guest house located on the R56 in the centre of town in Middelburg Eastern Cape. It is also situated near the Karoo’s busiest roads, the N9 and N10. Middelburg, which lies in the middle of the Karoo, is surrounded by mountains and is halfway between Port Elizabeth and Bloemfontein as well as Johannesburg and Cape Town, making it an ideal weekend or overnight stopover location. Middelburg is also the starting point of Route 56 in the Eastern Cape and is perfectly positioned for you to enjoy the Culture and Heritage of the Karoo Heartland. Route 56 is known as the Gateway between the Western Cape and KwaZulu-Natal.

Desert Inn Guest House offers accommodation in two Executive Suites, five Luxurious en-suite Rooms as well as two Self-catering Family Units, each cosy and comfortably fitted to suit the visitor’s needs.

Desert Inn Guest House aims to make all their guests feel at home. They are a very family friendly establishment and offer a splash pool, a children’s play area and a beautiful garden for you to relax in. The guest house also features conference facilities and allocated areas for parties and special venues, and have a licensed bar on site as well as a dining area.
