Karoo Ridge Conservancy

Welcome to our eco-guest lodge set in the Great Karoo Wilderness! Come and explore our 5 000 ha conservancy! We are a working farm with indigenous colourful Nguni and Ankole cattle. Farmed along side the natural wildlife, black wildebeest, blesbuck, zebra, gemsbuck and springbuck roam the Karoo plains while kudu and mountain reedbuck traverse the steep mountain slopes among the spectacular dolerite rock formations.

The bird life is superb with over 120 species recorded. Enjoy our authentic Karoo style eco-lodge, Karoo Ridge Cottage, which lies in a beautiful secluded valley. The perfect place to relax, hike the hills, spot the game or get involved with daily life on the farm.

Enjoy the exclusivity of the property Karoo Ridge Cottage which is situated in the Karoo Ridge Conservancy. Simply and tastefully furnished, it is a perfect place to relax or for the more adventurous, walk, hike, mountain bike and explore.

Karoo Ridge Conservancy

The cottage is a four bedroomed lodging. Two of the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and the other two share a bathroom. The central area is made up of an open plan well equipped kitchen, a dining room and lounge area which opens up into a big veranda for plenty of outside living. The cottage runs off gas and solar energy. Recommend a minimum of two nights stay. Sleeps 8 people max.
